COVID-19 LEVEL 2 UPDATE

13 May 2020

A huge thanks to you all for your support and patience over the last six weeks as we have worked through the challenges of lockdown together.

Level 2 for us means almost 'back to normal' but with the usual Level 2 precautions to keep our staff and customers safe, including maintaining physical distancing, strict hygiene standards and keeping a contact register.

The big change is that under level 2 we can welcome you back into the clinic with your pet but ask for your cooperation with the following:

Only one healthy adult is to accompany the pet/s

Only the client who has the next appointment can wait in the waiting area. If there is already somebody waiting with their pet when you arrive for your appointment please return to your car or wait outside and give us a call on 03 3896558 to let us know if you have arrived.

As with levels 3 and 4 please do not come to the clinic if you are unwell in any way or are in quarantine or self isolating for any reason. Customers who are showing signs of being unwell will be asked to leave the premises.

To reduce visit times and relieve waiting room congestion we ask that all prescription medication requests, pet food and over the counter product orders

To reduce visit times and relieve waiting room congestion we ask that all repeat prescription medication requests are made in advance so we can have everything ready for you on your arrival at the clinic. If you are ordering by email please give us 24 hours notice as we may not get to your email straight away. For telephone orders we will require a couple of hours notice. We will let you know if something is not in stock and needs to be ordered from our suppliers, and will be in touch when it has arrived.

We will continue to maintain our normal strict hygiene standards and will be sanitizing contact surfaces and our eftpos terminal on a regular basis.

We ask that all customers use the hand sanitizer on the reception desk on arrival.

We will be keeping a contact register of clients who visit the clinic and will be confirming contact details for each client who visits the clinic.

We encourage electronic payments to limit the handling of cash.

We thank-you for your ongoing support, patience and cooperation with these measures as we try our best to care for your pets whilst keeping everyone safe.
